Buster Keaton's final silent feature, as well as the final film in which MGM allowed him any creative control.Plot Summary:Elmer is a dry cleaner. He is madly in love with stage star Trilby Drew; for each of her 35 performances, he dons someone else's tuxedo and races to the theatre. When Trilby's co-star boyfriend gets engaged to a socialite, she marries Elmer to get even, assuming Elmer is a millionaire (since his clothes are so snazzy.) But she's clearly still in love with her scoundrelous co-star, and her manager makes her leave Elmer, trying to pay him off so the papers don't hear about her marriage to a "cheap pants presser." Can Elmer win her love? Maybe a sea voyage will help.

不好看，和其他的比起来没意思。
蛮喜欢这部的
赌气的婚姻，困扰的爱情。追星获得婚姻，勇敢收获爱情。峰回路转终成双，欢喜的结局透了点忧伤。
基顿的点子总是很奇妙，每次塑造的人物都很有意思。
已经是不敢顺着时间看全部基顿的片子，所以跳着顺序看，但还是被最后一部伤到了。不知道为什么，之前的也是丧着脸，但也总觉得活力满满，就算被扔来扔去也还是觉得又笨拙又可爱，但这部里总觉得悲大过喜。看电影就是这样吧，总是轻而易举又尖刻地提醒着时间流逝真的是一瞬间的事，很爱基顿。p.s.好想要那个流泪狗玩偶。
2022-133看了简介好心酸……"Buster Keaton's final silent feature, as well as the final film in which MGM allowed him any creative control."其实这部和他之前的作品都没法比，蛮无聊的说实话。在舞台上出丑和抱着船帆荡来荡去还算亮点。但是是基顿最后一部能独立创作的电影，也是标志着一个属于他的时代的终结吧……唉。
